The Comet is a two-seat twin-engined racing aircraft.
It was built specifically to take part in the 1934 MacRobertson Air Race between England and Australia.
G-ACSS 'Grosvenor House' won the race, piloted by Charles Scott and Tom Campbell Black.
G-ACSS is part of the Shuttleworth Collection based at Old Warden, Bedfordshire and is a regular performer at Shuttleworth airshows.
