The ANEC (Air Navigation and Engineering Company) II is a two-seat ultralight aircraft which was built for the 1924 Lympne Light Aircraft Trials competition. G-EBJO is an original aircraft and was the only ANEC II to be built.
It had several new owners until it was bought in 1931 for eight pounds by Jimmy Edmunds, who was a friend of Richard Shuttleworth. It was rebuilt and was based at Old Warden until 1935. After several new ownerships the registration was cancelled in 1937. It was then stored at Old Warden and rebuilt as a single-seater in 2004.
G-EBJO is part of the Shuttleworth Collection based at Old Warden. It is maintained in flying condition and can sometimes be seen flying at Old Warden airshows if weather conditions are favourable.
