From a young age, Senju are taught knowledge on various kinds of flora. If you speak to any Senju, they will have a very expansive knowledge on plants.
The Senju are the creators of Konoha - The clan that put an end to the Warring States. They formed friendly alliances with many of the starting clans, such as the Hyuga and the Uchiha.
However, the Senju and Uchiha clan members have always had a rancid history, being the two main opposing forces during the Warring States. Despite this, they attempted to integrate them due to the militaristic might the Uchiha provide.
The Senju attempt to be mediators of conflict, their ideology of freedom spreading across the village. Their methods don’t always work, struggling to make the difficult decisions necessary to create true peace. Many of the ‘solutions’ Senju create simply postpone issues or sweep them under the rug. They often try to have their cake and eat it.
The Senju are very jovial and caring to anyone within the village - Diplomats at heart despite their monstrous numbers and Jutsu proficiency. As such, many of the members of the village respect and enjoy the presence of Senju in spite of their political standing.
In a way, they are pretty narcissistic; Believing their ideologies are the most ‘fair’ and morally just to go by, they tend to dip their hands into matters that don’t concern them. This especially annoys and affects surrounding villages.
