The Aburame clan have an extremely sour relationship with the Kamizuru clan in Iwagakure. They used to be a single clan during the warring states period but split apart during a feud.
During the WARRING STATES PERIOD, a small number of the ABURAME CLAN found themselves disagreeing with the majority’s INSISTENCE ON THE PRESERVATION OF INSECT LIFE as if they were equal to humans. Believing such ideals to be heavily flawed and the Aburame lacking proper RUTHLESSNESS, these members DEFECTED and with them, the secrets of MASTERY OVER BEES.
Unlike the Aburame clan, members of the Kamizuru clan DO NOT KEEP THEIR INSECTS WITHIN THEMSELVES. Instead, it is common practice for members of the clan to don BEEKEEPING SUITS of various sizes and to keep their bees in there, releasing them as needed. These suits will almost ALWAYS MASK THE WEARER’S VOICE AND APPEARANCE, making the decoration of these suits as a means of self-expression an important part of Kamizuru culture.
Their usual role as IWAGAKURE’S POLICE FORCE and OFTEN OFFPUTTING APPEARANCES has led them to being SOMEWHAT OSTRACIZED within Iwagakure. It is quite common for RUMORS to circulate regarding whether or not they’re actually human. They are also OFTEN TREATED WITH A SORT OF FEAR OR RESENTMENT.
Requires Yang release.
Members of the Kamizuru clan have access to a swarm of bees that they can summon or can be with them at all times for an ongoing Chakra cost (the former requires an activation cost). Bees follow the rules for Familiars.
Special abilities and Jutsu can be infused into these bees.
The Kamizuru have GIGANT-BEES as a clan-specific lore reward at the end of their progression line.
Kamizuru members have a limited amount of bugs available, the amount scaling to their SOL Stat.
The bug pool is SOL x 2
The Bugs are not expended by using Jutsu. The user loses bugs if an enemy targets the swarm and lands hits unguarded.
*Your bug pool is not indicative to how many bugs are actually out. You can have thousands of smaller bugs or two large ones, its just an OOC metric to determine overall yield.
T1 Injury - Minus 2 to Bug Pool
T2 Injury - Minus 4 to Bug Pool
T3 Injury - Minus 8 to Bug Pool
T4 Injury - Minus 16 to Bug Pool
T5 Injury - Minus 32 to Bug Pool
Certain Jutsu involve the destruction of bugs in place of a chakra cost.
