The Fuma Clan are a string of the Uchiha clan that diverged long ago, dating back to the Warring States period. Settling in Sunagakure, the Uchiha name died out as the Fuma clan came in the Uchiha’s steed. The Fuma clan have lost the genetic properties that allow the Uchiha to create a Sharingan. 

Some rumours say that they can under very specific circumstances.

Residing in Sunagakure, their lives are materialistically worse than their Uchiha counterparts. Socially, they are in a much better position - They belong to a village which cares for their presence and values their people.

Fuma are relatively respected within Sunagakure. Passing through the streets, most will give you a friendly greeting.
