AKIMICHI CLAN

Akimichi members all have some chub to them as one of their defining characteristics, along with small spiral tattoos fitted onto their cheeks from birth.

The Akimichi is a clan that was formed pretty recently in Konohagakure. Konoha has always had a better living standard than most villages, except Kumogakure. A lot of culinary delights are curated within the village - As such, an innovator appears.

Kyojo Akmichi, the first of his family and a Shinobi, was told he’d have to keep his body fit and diet controlled to become a worthy Ninja. He refuted such an idea, indulging in as many calories as he so desired. He grew to a staggering size and was told to leave the Ninja force. In spite of this, he still rushed out to the battle-field.

Kyojo, surprisingly, was still extremely proficient in the way he fought. He continued to be a Ninja and fostered the Akimichi Hidden of Calorie Control and many of its Taijutsu derivatives.

The Akimichi believe in living life whatever way you want to as it is fleeting and short. Unlike many Nin, they believe their Shinobi and home life should be separated. They are considered an enjoyable personality to have.

Akimichi clan members are welcomed into culinary establishments due to the business they provide. However, they have destroyed the idea of an ‘all you can eat buffet’ in Konoha

User's of Calorie Control can convert their bodies' calorie deposits into chakra, providing them with monstrous strength as they manipulate the size of their bodies. Increasing their size bolsters the Akimichi's size and the range of their techniques.
