ソウル・ソリスト・チェロ･アンサンブルは、韓国の次の世代をリードする若いチェロ奏者で構成されています。アンサンブルは、チェロにある多様な世界を広く伝え、掘り下げることを通じてクラシック音楽の基盤を築くことを目的としています。2006年の結成以来、国内外で活躍する優れたチェロ奏者や教授たちと研鑽を積みながら、質の高い音楽を追求し、生み出してきました。

他の楽器と組み合わせて多様な音楽を作り出すなど、時代を越える新しいレパートリーへの取り組みは、チェロ愛好者の心に訴えるものです。目指すのは、チェロのふくよかな音色を生かした新たな曲の演奏に軸足を置く、世界的な韓国チェロ・アンサンブルとなることです。

ソウル・ソリスト・チェロ･アンサンブルの名は、文字通りソリストとして卓越した技術と評価を得たメンバーが集まっていることを表します。彼女らが出会うことによって生まれる美しい響きとハーモニー。アンサンブルの可能性を引き出すのは、ひとりひとりの技と個性なのです。

Seoul Solist Cello Ensemble

“It’s an ensemble that displays the talents of each soloist, while maintaining the harmony in one as a group.”

Seoul Solist Cello Ensemble is comprised of young cellists who would lead the next generation of Korean cello artists. The group was founded in 2006 with the purpose of expanding the foundation of classical music by popularizing and specializing the world of cello.

The ensemble researches and creates quality of music through working together with renowned cellists and professors, who are actively involved in performances in Korea and abroad. It seeks to fascinate cello manias through new repertoires surpassing the era and also by diversifying the formations, such as collaboration performances with other instruments. In the future, the group aims at establishing itself as the Korea’s best cello ensembles in the world by focusing on unique composition with cello’s enriching tones.

The name, Seoul Solist Cello Ensemble, represents an ensemble formed with members who have outstanding skills and reputation as soloists. The skills and individuality of each performer displays the fullest potential of the ensemble by creating a harmonious and beautiful ensemble when coming together as one.
