Music has been a tool of communication before it became an art. This is why there is such a great diversity of representation in music. In order to convey the message, music has to be performed at a right place fitted to the purpose of the message. Sometimes it could be on a street corner, or other times it should be in a comfortable room.
At Hirakawacho Musics, we are trying to explore what music can convey in the space we created. We think it's very exciting to see and listen how the contemporary musicians weave their messages in our space. Since this is not in a concert hall, we can expect a kind of chemical changes in their expressions.
The audience will experience the music and the space something beyond daily life. It's going to be like being astonished by the story of fantastic voyage it should not be just a whisper of a sweet melody.
