2021 Halloween
Adding some images I composed, setup, and rendered in Daz Studio pro and Poser 12 software. I used 3rd-party as well as my own 3D assets. Nothing too creepy or horrible. Just thematic: fantasy, dark, gothic lolita, sci-fi, with some elements of East Asia. The only genre I don't really do for this season is steam-punk.
Do not try this render with a low-spec computer !
I modelled the tendrils.
Version One of my girl-boy twin BJDs.
When you discover your Halloween hot date is a life-size BJD.
Version Two of my girl-boy twin BJDs. I modelled the fog geometry.
A bit dark, but that chibi coffin cushion was modelled and textured by me.
Playing with focus effects. That little monster rushing toward you is ...
A modern take ...
Not so weird in this day and age of realtime avatars on mobile apps. This may have seemed a little more scary several decades ago.
I am using the female anatomical model for muscles found in the Poser default conent library. Strangely enough, the eye material zones exist but there are no eyeballs (eyeballs are not muscles). I added a sphere with emission shader into the head area to create the glow effect.
Ring-Fenced Rascals: I collected quite a number of the rascals in my Poser content runtime which I collected over the years, and ringfenced them with an emissive torus. Some of the content goes back to 2012. Scene composition and setup by me.
I modelled and textured the chibi bat cushions.
I used the male anatomical skeleton found in the Poser default content library. I added my own dynamic cloth curse control sheet (typical for zombies in Chinese tradition). I grew the dynamic hair using the Poser Hair Room. Fog is 3rd-party asset.
Uhmmm... what can I say...
More of a SciFi item than a horror item. Futuristic Mgic technology.
I forget to add this render to the 2021 Halloween collection

January 2022 renders
I did quite a number of renders using the Poser 12 L'Homme figure and my own clothing and textures, plus customisation. I also used 3rd party assets such as hair, character morphs, character textures, belted pants, boots and gloves.
I modelled the clothes in Shade3D. I created the input textures for the Cycles shader trees using Clip Studio Paint EX and Assets.
Only the long vest-tunic is by me.
Orbs created by me using Metasequoia software. Tunic created by me. Second skin bodysuit shaders and textures by me.
Shirt and shirt shaders by me.
Long open jacket, pants, and second skin gloves and t-shirt by me.
Shirt and shirt shaders by me. Gloves are third-party.
Shirt, pantaloons and shaders by me. Gloves and boots are 3rd party
Open hoodie, Asian wrap-over pants by me, shaders by me.
I forget to add these renders to the January 2022 collection
3rd-party suit for L Homme
Just a render I did to test how well the suit works in Poser 12. Suit is a third-party item, not created by me.
Assorted renders February 2022
Just some scenes I assembled, posed, customised, and rendered; includes my own original content as well as 3rd-party assets. Modelling software: Shade3D. Rendering software: Daz Studio Pro.
Using actual 3D city geometries in background - long render times.
Room created by me using Shade3D. Scene assembled and customised by me. Other assets 3rd-party.
Using 360 equirectangular HDRI (3rd-party) maped to environment dome. Shorter render time.
Room created by me using Shade3D. Scene assembled and customised by me. Other assets 3rd-party.
I used AI animeGANv2 on my renders
2022 March 05
I requested the animeGANv2 AI to apply an anime style to my renders from Poser 12 and from Daz Studio. Here are my results. Some content are my own geometries created using Shade3D software. Others are 3rd party.
