La Femme character Sizu in Poser Pro 11

Details are on the renders. I actually wanted to test my image-based illumination from the 360 backgrounds I made. There are no added lights in these scnees. Sorry she is a bit rude, but she is The Girl Who Doesn't Want To Pose. I adjusted the dynamic cloth settings to get them positioned correctly with her hands.

L'Homme Anime Boy in Poser Pro 11

As Angel and as Cat Boy

I made the cat boy costume for him using Shade3D. The images were rendered using Poser Pro 11.

For the Angel series, I show him preparing for Christmas and then ready for Christmas. Hair, wings and bodysuit are 3rd-party assets. The halo is simply the Poser default torus with an emissive shader applied.

For the Cat Boy render, I used my own 360 background image. The floor plane cycles shader was by Vince Bagna, and I was using imange-based illumination in the scene.

Shirt and shorts for La Femme Anime Girl

I modelled the long-sleeved shirt and shorts for the La Femme Anime Girl. I used Shade3D to create the geometries and UVs, and Clip Studio Paint EX to create the textures. I created the anime-style hair using Vroid Studio. I composed and rendered this scene using Superfly and scene-based illumination. The toon bird is a 3rd-party asset.

La Femme with my 360 backgrounds

I rendered in Superfly in Poser Pro 11. The 360 backgrounds are scenes of Singapore. More images of other clothing are shown in my 3D Modelling page https://sites.google.com/view/grumpyoldfartssite/home/my-3d-modelling-projects-2

Clothes and shoes created by me, using Shade3D. I am using a 3rd-party shader for the blouse and shorts. I created the texture for the shoes using Clip Paint Studio EX.

I used a 3rd-party character, hair, and clothing on La Femme, while I tested my 360 background.

Hair, clothes and shoes by me.

Using 3rd-party clothing and accessories.

I wanted to try dynamic cloth attached to her hand, which turned out OK. Clothes by me, other items 3rd-party. A Japanese studio contacted my when they saw this item at my Pixiv account. I couldn't be sure if it was a bona fide message or not, so I never responded !

I used a very old dynamic clothing I made with Shade3D, and texture I created in Clips Studio Paint ex. the background is 3rd-party graphic.

360 background by European Southern Observatory.

Traditional Style Malay Baju Perempaun

I modelled and textured the clothing and ran dynamic cloth simulations on them inside Poser Pro 11. Modelling in Shade3D. Texturing done with Clip Studio Paint EX. I show all the various styles for this clothing set elsewhere in this website under my Modelling webpage. For this render, I also used 3rd-party scene props.

Using Michael3 figure with modernised shaders

I updated the shaders for this old figure

Here are some renders I made after I had modernise the shaders for the figure which is more than a decade old as at this time of writing. I used special shaders for the cloth and used image based lighting from the environment, hence the unusual colours washing through the renders. I played with tone mapping as well. For a more graphical look, I used Geometric Toon Line and combinations of Comic Book Colour and Comic Book Black&White for rendering. The wings in the images were modelled by me. The glowing cloth is a dynamic cloth with emissive shader applied. I modelled the red robe in one of the images. Modernised Second Skin shader solutions by me, using Cycles Root Node and multiple layers in Material Room. Wand, Boots, Hair and some clothing, are 3rd-party assets. Input textures include 3rd-party content.

I tried my own Cycles Celshaders on Hiro4

I used my own Cycles Root Node celshaders on the Hiro 4 figure from Daz3D. I also use my type of shader for his hair and clothing (replacing the shaders on the third-party assets). Some of the hair geometries were modelled by me. His magatama ninja eye textures include 3rd party input images.

"Achievement Unlocked"

Game-style render to utilise the text-to-geometry feature inside Poser Pro 11

Dynamic Hair created by me. Text geometries created by me.

Manga Man

I purchased the figure by DarkSeal. It's what it says it is - a manga-style figure which we can pose and animate inside Poser.

I modelled the long loose top. The hair is Diahme Hair by Daz3D.

Maybe (it's his name)

A true Japanese anime-style figure by creator Akatora. His body is extremely stylised, which fits the classic anime style of Ikemen ( イケメン ) or cool guy. (Although in recent years, we begin to see a mashup of semi-realistic and anime types for styling).

Left: Maybe-kun with my Vroid Studio-created hair

Right: Big Brother Maybe-kun trying to look cool, but he is photo-bombed by kid sister NearMe-Chan.

Unless otherwise stated, all contents are 3rd-party.

Video Clips rendered in Poser Pro 11

Using FBX imported female figure

Girl FBX figure generated using Adobe Fuse CC, animated using Adobe Mixamo online, FBX imported into Poser Pro 11. Video clips rendered using Poser Pro 11, then concatenated in Microsoft Movie Editor. Music is from Microsoft Photos.

Mixamo FBX figures imported and posed in Poser Pro 11

Just a couple of renders showing my use of posable FBX rigs in Poser software.

I should work with unusual camera angles and settings more often.

Mixamo stylised Ikemen in Poser

I cannot recall how I ended up customising these guys in Mixamo - perhaps in a very old version of Mixamo, before they were bought by Adobe, it was possible to generate figures or something. Anyway, I created these two very stylised manga-proportioned ikemen, rigged them in Mixamo and used their FBX imported formats in Poser. I posed and rendered them in Poser.

A World Leader

P45

I wanted to depict him as standing alone.

I had to modify his shaders to make them render better in Poser SuperFly.

This is a third-party figure and character set.
