Forcing a photorealistic head geometry into an anime form often elicits sideways glancing emoticon with snide smirk. But hardcore diehard people like me (delusional or stubborn, as well, depending on your perspective) must try !
I literally traced Awashima's face inside Poser 3D by using the morph brush on the Elizabeth 2 figure. I used an anime graphic for reference.
This is the Poser 3D version of Awashima as visualised using Geometric Edge Lines and Comic Book Colour setting, on the Elizabeth 2 figure.
I added a 3rd-party hair geometry which was closest match to Awashima's hairstyle.
This is a Poser Firefly render with toon outline enabled.
I converted the Bice and OutOfTouch HS Coat using Poser P11's Fitting Room and Morph Brush (not so easy, but achieved). All morphs working ! It isn't the exact same jacket used by Seri Awashima, but I don't intend to make an exact fan art anyway. I'll have to get the texturing similar on a macro level. Also need to get her high-heeled boots, and a sword. Figure is Elizabeth2 by Seán Dodger Cannon with my customisation. Hair is Araia hair with my customisation.
I am using Poser Superfly rendering with my own Cycles celshaders. I modelled the dress using Shade3D.
She looks scary here.
I modelled this dress using Shade3D
A Black and White render using Poser Firfle and Comic Book B&W setting.
I modelled this dress using Shade3D
Using my own cycles celshaders and rendered using Poser Superfly engine. Less than desirable outcome, frankly.
Top and Bottom Left -
Post-render manga effects applied using Clip Studio Paint EX.
Using DoodleBoo ghost and a background iamge of Singapore, inside Poser. The letters were created inside Poser.

Too bad... I really wanted to make a 2D paper man in Poser Pro 11, but I failed !
I include a video showing my test animation. I may try this experiment again in the future.
A related experiment is in my Neon Man, which I feel is slightly more successful.
Left: Animation test - untextured output from Poser software.
Left: Animation test in Poser software with my hand-painted texture.
I did not manage to make decent Cycles shaders for a SuperFly render, unfortunately. I could not properly adjust his clothing at the left thigh area either.
Character kindly provided by Sean Dodger Cannon. Render quality is entirely my shortcoming.
These were very early renders in Daz Studio Pro using iRay and on a very low-spec computer. Perhaps I should try again when I get a RTX3070 machine.
Hiro4 is an anime-style figure from Daz3D. I tried various 3rd-party hairstyles on him. Somehow, I did not feel inspired to make further renders with his various looks. *sweatdrop*
I composed the scene with some cosplay costume parts on Hiro4. It was supposed to be a younger teenage brother having to indulge his older sister's anime-fan fantasies, by wearing an animal-boy costume. I used 3rd-party content. I should make a revenge render for him someday. Heh heh.
One of the previous generation of Poser default figure was the Paul 2 figure. There was no convincing anime-style morph product in the marketplace. I decided to morph the features myself using the Poser Morph Brush. It was rather challenging. I show my attempts to modify the Paul 2 features into a more anime style. I also tried to come up with celshaded shaders that would resemble the anime look instead of a comic book style.
In these renders, I include use of some 3rd-party hair and clothing geometries, as well as some of my own.
I have not achieved a satisfactory level of anime-style appearance with the Paul 2 figure.
Left: Self-explanatory. My attempts at working out celshaded Non-Photorealisitic shaders.
I manually re-created the shader trees from examples by the authors mentioned in the image collage.
This project was done some years ago. All third-party shader solutions have since been refined and updated by their respective creators.
... which has never been corrected as far as I know.
Look at his neck with his default skin shader. The wrong input image was used.
I really pity all the newbie Poser software users of that era whe the Paul 2 figure was the defualt male. They must have scratched their heads trying to find out why he had that mark on his skin.
