Just putting some of my renders using Poser 12 and the Microsoft Avatars (available free). I have to adjust the material settings in Poser 12 and pose the figures manually. I used morph brush to give hair some movement in some of the images.

Scene setup, camera settings, render settings, HDRI 360 background by me. I created the illuminating background HDR using Blender3D and Cycles procedural shaders on the World background node in Blender3D. Other than these, I am using 3rd-party content.

I went to the World part of the Blender scene settings. I selected Cycles render engine. In Shading tab, I selected Use Nodes. I added a Background node and a Sky Texture Node, connected them and adjusted the various settings of the Sky Node to obtain avariety of rendered results. I exported the results as HDR format, with dimensions ratio width to height 2:1.
I use the HDR images from Blender3D in Poser Environment texture Node connected to the Background root node. I will provide more details of how I control this node with additional nodes, in another section of my website (to be updated).
Here are my test renders of the illumination produced only with the HDR image applied to the Background node. There are no lights in the scene. I rendered the various types of scene illumination from various HDR images produced from Blender. There were many more, but not all worked to my satisfaction.
Figure is L'Homme. Clothing and Balustrade created by me using Shade3D. Renders done using Superfly render engine.

Using my own customised camera settings, HDRI illumination, and 3rd-party geometries, I set up the scene and rendered in iRay. There is no postwork in this render, as the screen capture of the mesh view and workspace shows.

I obtained a free model of the AnHoi House from Buiductam at CGTrader. I imported the OBJ and stored the textures into my Poser runtime library so that Poser can find the textures easily. I used the textures in PBR shader trees.
PBR = Physically-based rendering.

I created a manually-dialled (i.e.using sliders) composite character from various character morphs in Daz Studio. I wanted to make the young CEO husband type !
I only use my custom camera settings. There is no postwork. I used 3rd-party 3D assets, but scene setup and HDRI 360 illumination is my own.

Daz Studio Pro allows use to access all the character morphs for any particular figure, so it's easy to mix the characters togther using sliders to get a unique looking guy. I had to look through a lot of manga, manhwa, donghua and anime to get the look and feel of the archetype. I also started to get a bit of intellectual damage because a lot of the typical girl's romance series are really similar and you can even predict how the story will go, but oh well, eyeballs hit pages and advertising revenue is earned.
I am just going to put all the renders I made in this section. I intend to use these characters for manhua/manhwa style graphic novels.
My custom-dialled multi-morphed unique characters.
I wanted to make an image which contains symbols of longevity for East Asian cultures: the tortoise and the crane. I am using an immersive 3D waterfall and pool environment and have lit the scene only with an HDRI, without any lights. Daz Studio Pro render. 3D Assets are all third-party. I set up and posed the scene contents.
