This is a 2020 attempt to get a celshaded render look for my clothes and the L Homme figure. I used Cycles Shaders with NPR (non-Photorealistic) shader trees, in Poser Pro software.
I had some issues when experimenting with refraction node (call me crazy), and I abandoned that shader development. I returned to a flat-shaded look.

I consider as partially successful only.
MB-Lab is a figure generator which can produce 3D CG humanoid figures in Blender3D. The geometry and rig can be exported as an FBX and then imported into Poser Pro 11. Here I show how I created a stylised anime female figure, and how I adapted her for use inside Poser software.

I used my customised face of the Poser L'Homme figure, and applied 3rd-party character textures, including those for La Femme, as well as my own Non-Photoreal shaders. I wanted to compare the rendered looks.
I rendered a 360 image using the Sperical camera lense in DAz Studio Pro, then I made it into a sphere using GIMP.

I suppose I could apply it to an IBL light or to the Background node in Poser Pro 11 but I have not tried...
I used Inkscape to create the SVG vector image, then processed it in Shade3D to convert spline to geometry (I expect I could also do this in Blender3D but have not tried). I used it inside Poser Pro 11 with a figure jsut to see how it would look. I did not pursue this project further. Soemone at my former account at DeviantArt asked why I did not simply use a 2D plane, but I wanted the 3D look and also to be able to have the camera actually capture it as a 3D object in the scene (weird reason, but it has a purpose).
(BELOW) Well, here is my NPR (Non-Photorealistic Render) version showing how my text box may be used inside Poser software.
I have distributed the text box as a freebie prop for Poser use. It is available at my ShareCG webpage

So I fiddled with the settings for Poser cameras and tried to get some extreme perspectives.
I used 3rd-party assets for these renders in Poser Pro 11.
There are several ways to get the graphical, non-photorealistic appearance in a render
NPR = Non-Photorealistic Rendering
We can do this without resorting to post-render editing in an external software: by using FireFly renderer, with Toon Outline selected in the Render Settings, and/or also selecting Geometric Edge Lines, and/or selecting Comic Book Colour or B&W options.
After researching Cycles Celshaded shaders in the Blender3D universe, I created my own Cycles Celshaded shaders for use in Poser Pro 11. (These can of couse be modify to produce grey-toned NPR renders.) I rendered using SuperFly engine.
I do not like the Top Left, Top Centre and Bottom Right results. These are not what I intend. I want the image to be flat celshaded, like in Top Right and Bottom Left. There is no post-render editing in an external graphics software here.
With adjustments to the NPR shader settings, I was able to render some other graphical styles using SuperFly.
At Left: The centre image was rendered using Poser Pro 11's Sketch render function. Right Image rendered with Superfly, Left Image rendered with FireFly and NPR render options.
At Left: Just SuperFly render and my own NPR Cycles celshaders. Not perfect yet because the diffuse shadows are stil too much 3D style., but if one is looking for a hybrid semi-realistic style - maybe can do.

At Left: I should have changed the Cycles NPR shader to make light and shadow skin tones closer on the pallette.
Anyway, this shows a Superfly render with Cycles celshaded shaders (NPR shaders), without any postwork in an external graphics software.

Below: I show how the Pauline 2 figure appears with my celshaders applied to her and her accessories. I also show a comparison between a colour celshaded style and a toon black and white style. Rendered in Poser. I created her hair and clothes. I am using my custom anime face for her.

I used the head from my anime-style figure created using Design Doll, and put it on the body of an imported rigged Vroid anime body inside Poser. I experimented with palette and celshader styles using Cycles renderer.
