L'Homme Retro Sci-Fi style in Poser Pro 11
Software: Poser Pro 11. Except for the shirt geometry, I am using third-party assets; I set up the scene and used Superfly render engine to produce the render. I made some minor customisations. The collage was created using PhotoscapeX. I created the shirt using Shade3D. I must credit European Southern Observatory for the 360 images used as backgrounds.
I rendered a male 3D figure in Daz Studio Pro and tried applying various artistic filters from various 2D software. I liked this result the best. It is done using Krita.
I wanted to have a stylised character in a realistic 3D CG render. I made the render using Daz Studio Pro, then I use tone-mapped overlays in an external editor for the final result.
I am using 3rd-party assets in this render. I composed the scene.
I wanted to get that soft pastel feeling like modern East Asian images have. I used a stylised character and rendered in Daz Studio Pro, then used PicsArt (if I recall correctly) to apply a style transfer. All 3D asets are third-party, but I composed the scene. At the Daz Studio pro render stage, I used my own render settings to get a blurry background, and I am used my own 360 image to light the scene.
The background is a virtual 360 equirectangular render I created using Daz Studio Pro and the equirectangular camera lense setting. I added it to this scene by using it as the dome image. I used it as a light source with a 3D CG male figure, and rendered using iRay renderer. It seems to work...
I changed the Render settings to make a very extreme render with a lot of bloom and non-normal streetlighting. I got the look of a senior East Asian lady doing some night-market shopping for fine fabrics, in the city, while it is drizzling. I am using third-party assets but the scene set up is my own. I am also using my own rendered 360 equirectangular image for background.
I rendered a silly scene of a girl with her Bot Butler, and applied an artistic style using PhotoscapeX. Using 3rd-party assets, but I set up the scene.
Well, I got a little bit fed up with all the young curvy females appearing in all the 3D CG renders, so I am using a senior lady character Mrs Chow for the Daz3D Genesis 8 Female, in a sci-fi scene which I set up and rendered using Daz Studio Pro. I applied post-render glow effects using PhotoscapeX.
Uh... I just wanted to make a render of girl in a soft mood. No, sorry, she is not super boobsey, she is not half-nekkid, and she is not posed in a depraved manner. I used 3rd-party assets, but the scene setup is my own. Rendered in Daz Studio pro using iRay. I ma using my own 360 equirectangular background to light the scene, and controlling the final result using my own Render settings
Feel the fresh cool air after the rain has passed... This is Ms Lancy outdoors... Using my own scene setup, camera and render settings, with 3rd-party assets. Lighting is from my own 360 equirectangular background. The tight focus is intentional.
Daz Studio Pro render with my own custom settings and then added effects with GIMP. Yup, this is Ms Vivy's Work From Home lifestyle during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. She is using her apartment balcony for Zoom meetings. I am using 3rd-party assets, but the scene setup, camera and render settings are my own. I am also using my own 360 equirectangular background image for lighting. (Vivy is a character for the Daz3D Genesis 8 Female).
I made two versions - one is a straight render with my custom camera and render settings, and another with PicsArt special effects added onto it. I used my own 360 equirectangular background image to light the scene, and the stylisation is intentional. YiYi is a 3D CG character from Daz3D; I am using 3rd-party assets but the scene setup, and camera and render settings are my own.
