Scroll over the words "My 3D CG From Earlier Times" ( or the word "More", depending on your browser width) at the top right (PC web browser) or top left (three horizontal bars, if you are using a mobilephone browser) of the page to view a drop-down navigation menu for the rest of this website.
I will add in this section of my website, my 3D CG projects from earlier times.
I was basically still learning how to use the software and refining techniques and procedures. Not everyone writing tutorials or giving advice in CG forums wanted to achieve the exact results I wanted, or even understood the genre I was trying to achieve - celshaded anime style. Mostly, the guidance I came across was for Western cartoon-style animation and texturing.
I was trying to achieve a Japanese anime style using Poser software. Call me stuborn, but there was clearly a difference in geometries and texturing, even with the stylised Daz3D figures Aiko3 and Hiro back in those days.
Japanese content creators for Poser did actually come up with figures and charcaters fitting the genre, but the wider user audience was not educated enough about anime stylisation to readily accept the genre, back in those days. An intermediate soluton was Terawell's Design Doll software, but the output still required cleaning up using an external geometry editing software (I use Shade3D for that).
MMD models could be imported into Blender3D then exported as rigged FBX into Poser, but you're stuck with other people's characters.
After many years, the launch of Vroid Studio by Pixiv changed everything. True anime-style characters may now be generated and exported, but still need to be rigged in Poser.
Anyway - this part of my website is mainly a visual catalogue of my earlier projects mostly for Poser software.
Just a joke prop like in anime series. I made a 3D CG low-res effect prop which has a couple of morphs and a material switch as a joke jutsu effect, like in some anime shows. I originally planned to release this as a freebie at my ShareCG account, but decided it was too much of a joke.
I WILL ADD MY NOTES AND COMMENTS TO THE IMAGES LATER.
I AM STILL UPDATING MY WEBSITE.
There was a meme dance which appeared in the ending theme for the Kill Me Baby anime series. I modelled and rigged fan art characters similar to the two stylised characters dancing in the ending theme. I made a ninja version as well, as a gag based on the plot of the anime that one of the girls is a real assassin with ninja moves. She was probably just suffering from Chunibyo (ä¸äşŚç—… ) or second year of high school syndrome. Look it up. I painted the face expressions onto the base texture.
Was just playing around. My interest is mainly human figures, so while this program is really excellent for landscapes, I did not use it very much after this.
I modelled these years ago using the Teddy software by Igarashi Takeo (Japanese surname first). I imported the geometry into poser and add my own custom material textures. You may check out this freebie at my ShareCG account.
