The Apollo Maximus figure has a dramatic history which I would rather not write about, since I am in contact with the creator. It is a worthy figure but alas, the sands of 3D CG time have blown over it.
Ben 2 is a child figure in the Poser Default content from several years ago. Again, the sands of time have blown over this figure. I made him as a spoilt princeling.
I used the DSON technology to import the natively Daz Studio contyent into Poser. I posed, composed and rendered the scene using Poser.
He turned out looking like a famous Japanese rock star when he was younger.
Again, I used the DSON IMporter to get this figure into Poser. I posed the figure inside Poser, and set up the scene for rendering inside Poser. This was done in 2013, so my Poser software must have been version 2012. My PC hardware was also very low-spec. I could not do much about the scene.
I found some renders I made using Poser software and imported interior 3D CG assets. I was just trying to work out whether I should invest in Genesis 2 assets for use with Poser software.
The G2 series of figures were default Poser content figures. Supposedly, their costumised heads along ethnic lines made them better than morphed heads based on a Caucasian or North European head. They were also supposed to work well with some type of face-related technology which in 2020 has been dropped in Poser Pro 12. The Poser G2 figures also had terminology problems - the Daz Studio community called their Genesis 2 line of figures G2, which led to some nomenclature ambiguity. In the end, the Poser G2 figures passed into histroy with the sands of time.
In my render of G2 Koji, I used a 3rd-party second skin texture over his skin texture, to make it appear like he had clothes on. The Poser version I used back in those days did not have the technology back in those days to add second skin clothing inside the software. I had to combine the skin texture and second skin texture in an external graphics editor first, then apply it in the Poser Material Room.
It is quite a bad render. but I show it for the record.
The Michael 2 figure is very old. I tired to make him cool like a vampire lord. Nothing much I could do about him back in those days... hahaha.
Rather old but one of the more popular figures among Poser software users. This one is two generations after the Michael 2 figure. Again, low-spec hardware and earlier versions of Poser meant limited scene possibilities.
I am using 3rd-party assets for this section.
I tried to make him look like some sort of modern-day ninja. I added the video camera recording screen in an external graphics editing software.
Fan art using Michael 4 which needs no introduction. Information on the image. I used this as my Facebook banner.
I used a High Elven character on Michael 4 for these renders.
(Below): Christmas-themed renders of the Yu character for Michael 4, which I have never published until now. Hair created by me.
(Below): A collage of Michael 4 Yu character renders... basically a study of him reclining. I seldom work with reclining or seated figures. I added post-render effects using an external graphics editor software.
