Partially-humorous render showing modern version of Japanese mythological being. I used Genesis 8 Male. I added the words after rendering the 3D scene.
I made the poor fellow walk in water, while leaves are blasted at him. Using the Genesis 8 Male figure. This was probably the last time I used background comprise of actual geometry (peer closely and you will understand why). This is a 3D render.
I wanted to compose a character using gender features from both male and female figures in the Genesis 8 series. I added some graphics effects post-render. Isekai or Alternate Universe is currently a popular game narrative for immersive play. I wanted to show a young person inside a game world, hence the digital effects in the scene.
Here I am just trying out the backlit scene effects which is a a commercial product from Daz3D. I should use it more often, but my hardware needs drastic upgrading before I can perform more efficient rendering. I used a Genesis 8 Male figure.
I used the Hiro (3) figure with Stratus morph and added post-render effects.
I wanted to try out more dramatic camera angles and fantasy lighting effects. I am using a Hiro 4 figure. I added some post-render effects.
Konzen Douji of the Saiyuki anime series, based on the manga by Minekura Kazuya.
I rendered a 3D scene in Poser, then destroyed it using Clip Studio Paint Ex. Sorry...
*sweatdrop*
I used the Dusk SE figure. Some of the 3D assets are my original modelling and texturing, while others are 3rd-party assets. Scene set up and rendered by me.
Just a test render of my Konzen Douji fan art in Poser software.
It is clearly not celshaded perfectly.
I modelled the clothes for the fan art using Shade3D.
Poser render to celebrate Miki4 figure's birthday - Miki4 is a figure for Poser software. Everything in this render is 3D content. No postwork.
Sadly, she was never very popular. Some artists disliked her arm joints, which I agree are awkward.
These are the real deal equirectangular images: width twice height, with spherical lense camera. I added some bloom and tone mapping. I intend for them to be blurred 360 backgrounds. They are not bracketed i.e., they are not High Dynamic Range (that can be dealt with separately using bracketing software). I particularly like using the city scenes from White Magus, and also some other 3D scenes as well. Google carousel slide show may truncate some of the images.
SLIDESHOW:
Cosmic Bot something, endered in Poser with my own shaders. Floor and wall shaders by Vince Bagna.
In this seciton, I show you images I made using the Aiko3 figure. This figure is by Daz3D and is one of the older anime-style figures, useable in Poser software. I tried applying various toon styles as well as my own Cycles celshaders, and for some images, processed then further in Clip Studio Paint EX. I am mostly using 3rd-party 3D assets. I will mention it if I am using my own geometries.
I don't think she is actually very much "anime" in look, but this could have been the style 15-20 years ago. Today's anime style is probably best defined by what you see in Vroid Studio.
Anyway, hope you see something interesting in the image blast which follows
In 2018, a young leader of a country in Asia met an old leader of a country across the Pacific. Their summit was held in my home country. I decided to make a fan art which would show the younger man as someone who would lead in a futuristic world.
I used the Paul 2 Asian figure, and created a custom character using his morphs. The clothing and accessories are 3rd-party assets. I set up the scene and rendered the scene using Poser Pro 11.
Wow - I remember this image took me a long time to adjust correctly inside Poser.
I used 3rd-party assets.
(Using the Daz3D Aiko 4 figure)
(Below) I used the text creation function of Poser, in scenes featuring the Terai Yuki anime girl figure.
Using my own Cycles celshader shaders in Poser Pro 11 on the Daz3D Aiko3 figure.
I hand-painted the anime-style eye glints and used the textures in my shader tree.
Hair is my own geometry, created using Vroid Studio.
Background 360 equirectangular image is my own render from Daz Studio Pro and applied to the Geosphere using Cycles shaders in Poser Pro 11.
Aiko4 was the next generation of anime figures from Daz3D, also useable in Poser Pro 11 right out of the package. This was the last generation of Poser-specific figures created by Daz3D. After the Generation 4 series, Daz3D went on to introduce the Genesis figure, which was still useable in Poser. Increasingly, the future generations of Genesis became further and further removed from Poser-friendliness, concurrent with Daz Studio software itself coming out of beta.
Nana character for Aiko4, by DeriDeri
In 2017, I generated hair in Blender, then exported the geometry in Poser. If I recall correctly, it involved generating the splines, then converting them into geometries. This was an old technique inside Blender3D, which has been superceded these days by other hair creation tools and more modern versions of Blender3D. In fact, nowadays, if I want to create hair, I either use Poser Hair Room, or Vroid Studio.
I show you the hair results in Poser with Aiko4 in the collage section below (rest of assets are 3rd party):
Winter image using 3rd party morphs...
I used Sean Dodger Cannon's Dragon figure and messed about using Poser and Clip Paint Studio EX. I am not really a fantasy genre person, but I just wanted to see what would happen...
This is a 3D render, but I cannot recall what I did to get the final result haha.
I rendered the 3D scene then took it into Clip Studio Paint to make it into an anime-style image.
I played with camera settings in Poser to produce a distorted image. I added lighting effects post-render.
After posing the figure in Poser, I imported the 3D object into Clip Studio Paint EX to male a flat image.
I created the plants using Blender3D and made them into props in Poser. This is a rendered 3D scene.
It's just a joke..
I used the Anime Girl and Anime Boy morphs of the La Femm and L'Homme figures respectively, and put them into a scene. I used some 3rd-party assets, and some of my own. Poser Pro 11 render, with some post-render effects using Clip Studio Paint EX and Photoscape10).
Scene 1 - Boy is just minding his own business, listening to music with his wireless earbuds.
Scene 2 - Girl has a crush on boy, but how to get his attention ?
Scene 3 - They somehow work it out by going on a Quest together inside a Game. (I don't know which game...) She had to change her hairstyle for her avatar, to appear more like a Heroine on a Mission.
End of skit.
I composed the 3D CG scene using 3rd party contents. I rendered it in Poser.
