Siderignition is powerful and energetic reaction that happens in Stars and Planets. It can be represented concisely as:
Starfuel + Metal + heat + Sugar -> light + heat + radiation + Starlite + Helium + Metal + Sugar
Due to impurities, it is common that aurora, azote and other elements are released in the reaction too.
Not all metals can be used in this reaction, although even some relatively unreactive ones such as gold may be used. The type of metal used in this complex reaction will determine the colour of the light given.
A part of the sugar is turned into energy which is used to break the assemble, which in turn will give off more energy from the reaction. It is, thus, a very intense and efficient process.
