This forest stretches from the eastern side of the Aroza Peninsula all to way to the Eastern Section of the Crossing Chains. It is the second largest biome in Lyzy by area, second only to the Eastern Sands.
Sitting between two mountain ranges, moisture brought forth by Fairies from the Priscilan Sea is easily trapped in this bountiful land. This moisture escapes through the many rivers of the Zia Basin, notably through the Boota River.
Its flora is stunningly diverse. Trees such as the Zia araucaria, the common tropical araucaria, the twirly palm, the ice-cream bean, the mango tree, the açaí palm, the jacaranda, the cashew, and the zamites are just a fraction of the canopy. There are multiple bushes, ferns, vines and other plants covering every yard of the forest floor and even each other.
Some alchemically significant plants are native to this jungle, like vanilla, açaí, guaraná, shampoo ginger, ipecac, boldo and cocoa.
Matching the great plant diversity, the Artisans populated the Zia Jungle with an incredible number of different insects, spiders, frogs and theropods, among other creatures. Cane toads, macaws, kookaburras, giant mosquitos, tegus, poison dart frogs, paradox frogs, meganeura and ocelots are among the medium-sized animals found in the forest.
Besides, there are deinonychus, jaguars, caimans and even baryonyxes in the jungle as formidable predators. The latter fills the role of apex predator both in land and in water.
