Ningen are a massive (50 m long) species related to whales. They are endemic to the Central Sea.
Ningen have a sirenoid body with a pair of long, pale arms used to grasp seaweed, anemonae and shellfish, which they feed on with many small conical teeth. Ningen have small eyes which can barely form images, as they understand their surroundings primarily through echolocation.
Like whales, ningen lactate, and each adult female has only 2 nipples on her belly.
