Hatura

Geography

Hatura is built around the top of the world, with many platforms connected to the Milky Firmament by steel ropes and eternal gum. The climate is arid and desert-like. Many milky ways meet near the country, allowing for international commerce.

Demography

98% of this country's relatively low population are Ishim. 1% are Fairies (primarily of the Milky Clan) and the rest are Zoans (mosty ornithids). Most Haturans are Asterist (the religion has its cradle here).

The country has exceptionally high education indices, which leads to a sense of pride and patriotism.

Culture

This culture places great value on elders, which has interesting implications when many of its members are hundreds of years old. Some of the eldest beings in the world, millennia old. Haturans expect tourists and immigrants alike to adapt to the country's values.

Hatura is an informational power, being recognized for its elite messengers. Its priviledged position also grants messengers a spectacular vision of the world, seeing all continents and seas from above. To further facilitate transport of information and of goods, Haturans have tamed wild angels such as tsalacatim and the nadálim.
