This cave complex is composed of 6 larger agorai and dozens of smaller grottos. Many waterfalls come from large stalactites in these agorai, feeding the many shallow lakes and rivers of the system. Its water comes primarily from rain and is drained into the .
What sets these caves apart are the long and winding roads of its landscape. About 45% of the ground cover is composed of roads of flattened soil. The ceiling is lit by a variety of bioluminescent fungi.
The many roads of these caves are flanked by ferns and mosses. The canopy is rather dense outside of the roads, and mostly composed of scale trees, but also some coconut palms.
The megafauna of the Roaded Galleries is dominated by cyclentes. They (particularly the walsenbeest) are responsible for flattening the soil to make the roads. The apex predators, , are also cyclentes.
There are smaller creatures too, however, in the form of many slugs, including flying jet slugs.
