Stars are the most ancient beings after the True Gods. They generally live in the Sideral Space, particularly on the surfaces of its firmaments. They are filled with light and power and come in the 14 pure colours.
Their bodies are composed mainly of iridium, which bears starite in its pores and cavities. Anatomically, they can be divided into 3 segments: head, thorax and the peplos. The head is shaped like a star with 4, 5 or 6 points. The thorax is an articulated segment bearing 2 arms and some viscerae. The peplos is a hollow, bottomless, conical segment that ressembles a dress. It is composed of fine, interwoven fibres of a bind called stardress.
Stars vary in size and proportions, but most are within the range of 0.5 and 8 metres from the extended peplos to the tip of the head.
Metabolically, they perform siderignition to sustain themselves.
