Asteroid anatomy consists of many simple meromes. The torso is composed of 3 armored meromes (pelvis, abdomen and torso) and a fluid-like merome (the neck). They have a pair of arms, each composed of 2 armored meromes plus a metallic hand with 4 fingers each. These fingers have a fluid-like phalange and a metallic one. The 2 legs have 2 armored segments each, besides a metallic heel and toe.
Their body has few viscerae. A hear central pumps fluid and is responsible for nutrient distribution, thermoregulation and hydrostatic movement. A simple but efficient brain grants them personhood and intelligence. They are unnable to speak naturally, however, as they lack mouths. Besides that, many nerves provide them with senses.
On their faces, there is a depression with a single, glowing eye.
Mereorites are the most common kind of Asteroid, being 90% of their population. They large and bulky, their shoulders covered in metallic spines. Their thorax is wide and their arms long and strong. This makes them very strong, able to wield heavy weapons like swords.
Comets are smaller and rarer than Meteorites. They have proportionally larger legs with longer spines and shorter arms, as well as slimmer bodies than Meteorites. Their most distinguishable feature is their tail, which springs from their head and propulses them through the heavens.
