Alovynia

A swampy archipelago nation.

Geography

A small and humid archipelago of temperate climate. Summers are mild and winters are snowy. The coasts are covered by gravel on which sea cucumbers crawl and seals wail. On the heart of the islands, one can find rainforests lush with moss, with endemic fauna such as kiwi and arthropleura.

Demography

The vast majority (99%) of the population consists of Zoans, 90% of which are rats, the rest mostly mackerel. The other 1% are almost all Barophores.

30% are ametist, 66% are atheist, while the others have other faiths.

Culture

The people of Alovynia are known for their exceptionally bad cuisine, for their poor hygiene, and for their high obesity rates. The country is also known for its brothels, though they not very frequented. The breath of the average Alovynian citizen resembles sweaty socks and basilisk dung.

Perhaps ironically, the country is very xenophobic.

Politics

Alovynia is ruled by a monarch, a role passed by father to son. By 5800, the current king is the oppressive Calvus.
