Nadálim are giant centipedes related to the ōmukade of Alufa. They grow in size up to 18 metres. The back of a nadál has a concavity in each segment, as well as a pair of spines.
Nadálim crawl across the Milky Firmament, hunting prey with a similar habit with their venomous fangs.
They can be tamed, given enough food, and the Ishim of Hatura have done so. Nadálim have then been employed as beasts of burden, their back concavities perfect for carrying people or goods, and their spines ideal for holding.
From the Hebrew נדל (nadál), "centipede".
