In 2022, Tanya’s school faced a crisis with reported cases of child abuse, a time of immense fear and tension for students, staff, and families alike. Leading through vulnerability, Tanya brought her team together, fostering open communication and mutual support. The experience strengthened their commitment to child protection, and her Grade 10 students even organized a vigil after a tragic case in Kolkata, demonstrating their resilience and awareness.

Tanya’s leadership transformed a moment of crisis into one of empowerment and growth. Beyond handling difficult situations, she also dedicated herself to ensuring every student had a chance to participate in annual events, finding creative ways to include all 300 students. Her work demonstrates that love in leadership means standing strong through adversity and ensuring every voice is heard.
