Abhijit remembers a time when a student, distressed and angry, hurled his answer script across the room. While he could have reacted out of frustration, Abhijit chose to pause, meet the student with patience, and uncover the pain behind his actions. This encounter stayed with him, reinforcing his belief in leading through empathy and understanding rather than discipline alone.
Determined to empower his students to share their own stories, he started a periodical called *Voicing Free Minds*. Here, his students wrote about their lives, giving voice to their challenges and dreams. Though the project eventually ended, the legacy of self-expression it encouraged lives on in those students, who now approach their own lives with resilience and self-awareness, knowing that their experiences matter.
