When Ankita’s students were mistreated by local teachers and on the verge of dropping out, she chose the harder path of advocating for them and their families. Through open conversations and understanding, she helped her students see the value of education. Her persistence led to the establishment of an after-school center, which has become a safe, inclusive learning space for children from various communities.
Among her proudest achievements are four students she mentored in Grades 6 and 7, who are now in Grade 10 and thriving as young leaders. One of them, Tanaya, confidently participated in a regional competition, while others, like Riya and Rahul, are poised for bright futures. As the leader of PACC, Ankita remains a powerful advocate for her students, striving to open doors and resources to help them succeed against the odds.
