Almas’s journey in teaching was marked by moments where love triumphed over comfort. When her 10th-grade students were at risk of dropping out due to unpaid fees, Almas and her team took on the challenge of raising funds. Together, they collected ₹7.75 lakh, allowing every student to continue their education. It was a powerful reminder that when love guides action, seemingly insurmountable obstacles can be overcome.

One student in particular, Nikhat Ansari, stood out to Almas as a beacon of resilience. Despite financial hardships, Nikhat excelled in sports and academics, becoming a natural leader both in and outside the classroom. Today, Nikhat is breaking barriers as a Program Associate for Enabling Leadership, a role that reflects Almas’s legacy of nurturing potential and inspiring young minds to believe in themselves. Almas now works with Tan90, setting up STEM labs for marginalized students, embodying her lifelong commitment to empowering others through education.
