Sakshi’s passion for systemic change led her to work with a Member of Parliament, where she navigates the challenges of policy and governance. As the only woman in her office, she’s broken barriers by leading impactful campaigns and providing strategic advice, all while confronting sexism with courage and resolve. Her role is a powerful example of love as a mix of courage, strength, and unwavering belief in her potential to make a difference.
During her Fellowship, Sakshi taught Grade 6 and 7 students in a Pune government school. At the time, there was no secondary education pathway available for her students, but through partnerships with iTeach Schools, she helped secure a future for them beyond Grade 10. Today, her students are pursuing higher studies, a testament to the power of systemic solutions and the ecosystem’s support. Sakshi’s dedication underscores her belief that lasting change comes from addressing root challenges and creating opportunities at scale.
