In the final months of his Fellowship, Sayantan found himself at a crossroads between pursuing a prestigious role with the Early Childhood Education team at CSF or following his dream of building his own organization. His interest in early childhood education stemmed from witnessing learning disparities even in nursery students, and he spent his second Fellowship year creating a pilot program with community support. After much reflection, he chose to decline the job offer and focus on turning his vision into a reality, despite the financial challenges that followed.
Today, his organization, Dawn Child Foundation, thrives, engaging with parents, teachers, and students in Delhi. The foundation’s success underscores Sayantan’s belief in grassroots development and community-driven education. Despite the obstacles, his journey reflects an unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds and creating an equitable start in education.
