Prasanth’s Fellowship experience was deeply personal, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite struggling with his own health, he chose to stay with his students, eventually becoming one of their most dedicated mentors. His decision to remain, rather than step away, enabled him to guide his students through challenging times, culminating in a record-setting academic achievement for one of his pupils. Prasanth’s story is a testament to the resilience and love that drive educators to push through personal hardships.

After the Fellowship, Prasanth returned to his village, where he established a learning center to bring quality education to rural students. Inspired by his background, he dedicated this center to providing opportunities he himself lacked growing up, giving students a safe and nurturing space to explore their dreams. Prasanth’s commitment to his students and his community is rooted in his belief that education is more than grades—it is about empowerment, awareness, and breaking the cycle of limited access to resources.
