After her Fellowship, Snehal launched Project Kaleidoscope, a community center in a high-crime area where at-risk youth, particularly girls, face daunting challenges. Project Kaleidoscope is more than a learning center; it’s a safe haven that empowers children through arts-based learning in English and Social Studies. Building this space was no easy feat. Facing financial difficulties and community resistance, Snehal was tempted to give up many times. But her passion and dedication saw her through, knowing that giving up meant closing the doors on potential futures for these children.

Today, Project Kaleidoscope stands tall as a testament to resilience, offering students a place to learn, grow, and envision a world beyond their circumstances. For the girls especially, this center is a lifeline—a space where they can dream freely and learn to navigate their lives with confidence. Snehal’s work highlights the power of love and persistence to transform communities and uplift futures, one student at a time.
