Gelli Prints

There wasn't really the main idea behind these pieces. I kind of just put some random colors from a marker and made a tie-dye swirl. Then I used a net thing and put that on the Gelli pad with ink and that that on the paper.

For this project, I used a Gelli Pad with Crayola markers and ink on drawing paper along with a sharpie pen for the flower and a fishing net for the design on #2.

A process I went through was with the second one and it was how to get the net pattern to show up better on the paper. I tried a long of things like just rolling ink on the actual net and not using the Gelli pad or just putting the net on the ink-covered pad than on the paper, but I finally figured out a way to get the ink through the holes in the net by pressing down a little harder.
