Artist Statement

I was given the prompt "Draw a baseball player holding a tennis racket chasing a mouse up an ant hill." I tried to do this using up all the paper I had inside of the border.

I drew this with colored pencils on drawing paper and used painters tape for the boarder.

I wanted to make this pretty creative and I tried doing that by changing the scales of all the animals and the basebal player and the grass and the anthill. The man is small compared to a normal human but the rat is huge compared to the man yet it is also small then a normal rat would be. I tried keep the grass and ants and the anthill along the same scale just zoomed in.
