Photoshop Self-Portrait

Artist Statement

I chose this because it had a lot of detail and it would be a little bit of a challenge especially with his hair and the bag of chips and my hair. It was interesting to see all the different shades of color that are actually in pictures that we don't usually realize.

I made this picture on photo shop using mostly the eye drop tool and the brush tool.

I went through a few processes whether I should try to get all the details or keep it broad and simple. I ended up really trying to focus on details to make it look at least a little realistic, which is pretty difficult using photoshop and getting all the shades correct.
