Artist Statement

I wasn't really trying to show much in this piece. I was mostly just experiencing different color combinations and using some new blenders I got for Christmas that worked very well.

I used white paint on black paper, and used colored pencils for the eyes and white paint for the highlights.

Some processes I went through were experiencing with different colors and a new type of paint, gouache for the background and highlight of the eyes. I also went through some different ideas for the size of the circles but ended up doing more of a random pattern/grid.
