How can I represent different holidays and what they mean to me?

I think my work has developed to become more creative and personal. I think the background and story behind each piece has also developed. I definitely have room for improvement around how much detail i add and where, what I do with negative space, experiencing with different materials, and making stronger connections between the pieces and between the peices and I. Some goals I would like to set is to use more detail and go beyond what I think I can do. Maybe also try to think more in depth about things i can add that aren't do cliche. I also think that creating more unique things and adding more detail will make my work more exciting. I can try to make my future pieces more personal by making them more similar to people or scenes in my life. I can vary my work by using different materials that maybe I haven't tried before in different ways/techniques. I think something I could research is some more untraditional ways that people celebrate these holidays. I can create more synthesis or a connection between my subject and my material choices by finding things that people use or have during the holidays and use them in the piece itself.
