Artist Statement

I wanted to do something that was related to a camera and film. I also liked the idea of involving the future in my saying. I was trying to represent that the donation would create a better future for the person in need.

I made this on Bristol board using colored pencils, sharpies, and a black pen.

I went through a few different sayings that I wanted to use for this piece, but came to this specific one because I feel like it relayed the message I was going for better. I also was debating on doing that colored outline on the camera and film, but I feel like in the end it came together better than I thought. I also added the little stars on at the last minute too.
