EASTER
EASTER
Watercolor, black pen, charcoal, super glue, easter grass
12" x 9"
The main idea that guided me was the holiday Easter. I wanted to represent easter using classic colors but having some texture on the paper as well.
I used basic water color to do the eggs and a black pen to outline anything that needed it and the bunnys, I used charcoal to add some dimension before I knew I was gonna put the grass on. I then used super glue and rolled up the grass in chunks and glued it on
At first I just wanted to use the grass as a border which is why I used the charcoal for shading, but then after realizing how much empty space there was I decided to just fill it with grass.
