Ice Cream on da Floor
Paper, Pencil and marker. Ink was added before I got the paper.
12" x 9"
In the picture a boy dropped his ice cream on the ground and he is crying about it. This picture relates to life because sometimes there are disappointing times in life and this is an example of one of them.
In the piece of art I used paper, pencil and marker. the ink was added before I got the paper.
There wasn't too much of a process. Right when I saw the ink dots on my paper I knew what I was going to make with them. This is the classic scene that you'll see in a lot of animated Disney movies where the kids drops his ice cream and starts to cry. This project was evolved by me starting with the boy crying, then I started on the side walk. After this I liked how it looked, but I felt like the background looked a little empty so I added the fence in. Then when I finished sketching that out I went over the lines darker to make the piece pop. After this it still looked a little boring which is then when i decided to add color. If I were to add more to this picture i might add something behind the fence like a house or a garden, but not too much to the point where it will distract the viewer from the main part which is the boy and his ice cream.
