The main idea that guided this piece was my inquiry question of How can I represent different holidays through art? This started because I needed different things that were all overly connected that i needed to show through art and I decided to do something fun that people would understand.

To make this I used pencil to sketch out everything to begin with, like the pictures and the lines on the graph. Then I am using sharpie paint markers for the color, and this is all on canvas.

Some processes I went through during this piece was what holidays to include and how to show them in their little squares. I wanted to make them simple and to get the point across so that in the bigger projects of each holiday, they will be more complex.
