Love Collage

The main idea that guided this was valentines day. It is connected to me because I used notes that I have recieved on valentines day in the background.

First I taped the outsides of the paper for a border. Then I used red and a little white paint and made a messier background and just made some smudges instead of just black or just red. The i took some past notes I have gotten on valentines day and made them a little distressed and glued them on with mod podge. Then I took pedals off a rose one at a time and glued them to make the flower in the middle. I also just glued some random pedals around in the background using elmers glue.

I was a little torn on what to do for the background but I thought if I just taped it and went with it and kind of winged it then it would turn out fine. I was also debating on if I just wanted to glue a whole rose in the middle of the paper, but the way the rose is on the stem and how small it is I decided to put the pedals my own way to make the flower bigger
