In this piece I am trying to say that being an organ and tissue donar could put the color back in someones like (AKA save their life). I thought of this idea by thinking of different organs to draw and to find a way to incorporate some sort of abstract work into it.

I used almost entirely colored pencil besides regular pencil to sketch and a pen to go over the letters in the color. I did this on Bristol board paper.

Some processes I went through. making this was how and where I wanted the colors to go. I tried to make it so the cold colors and warmer colors weren't close together so you could clearly see the shapes of the colors coming out of the heart. I also originally thought that the lines were going to be more blended together and more swirly, but as I was drawing I was thinking how that would be a lot more difficult to blend and all the individual things coming out of the heart would get all blended and mixed together which isn't what I want. So I decided to just do lines of each color and blend them together using the white colored pencil.
