Portrait Project

I shot this entire assignment a few hours before it was due because I had an idea that never happened so I had to revise. I initially wanted to photograph my friend Henry as we had planned to go down to Boston on the train, however it never quite happened. I was super bummed and I didn't really know what to do for this project, so I had to revise my idea last night and I decided to use my sister as the subject. We had some fun with this assignment and redesigned our dinning room to make it better for taking pictures. I set up several lights to capture better lighting because without them we would have had to use our dinning room chandelier which isn't great. I had my sister do multiple poses and change her outfit once to get better pictures, but overall I think it turned out really well, and the only real thing I would have changed would be to get more studio lighting and use a larger space.

I think my favorite of the pictures is the theme one, I really like the leather theme cause of her outfit and I think I had the settings on my camera the best on those pictures. I also like the up close pcitures and those are her favorites. Overall it was not favorite assaignment but I like how it turned out.
