Found Poem

Artist Statement

This project was pretty straightforward. First I looked up pictures of found poems. Then I collected old National Geographics and ripped out pages. Finally I circled a couple words on each page to make a story that made sense to me and then blacked out the rest.

There is hardly any element of design in this piece. It's pretty boring and none of the stories even really make that much sense to me.

I don't feel like this represents me at all except for "The Skipper." This one talks about boating and being on the water which is something that I enjoy doing.
