Inspired Dada collage

First I looked up pictures of Dada collages. Then I collected old National Geographics and surf magazines and cut them up and pasted them in a way I thought looked unnatural but cool.

All the cut-outs I collected seemed similar enough to me that they could tell a story. It is telling the story of an oil pipeline put in British Columbia that is disturbing the beautiful Fjords in the area.

I don't feel like this represents me at all however I do like the beautiful outdoors. I had this idea as soon as I opened the magazines and I struggled pulling it together in a Dada style.
