The main idea behind my project -
The idea behind my project is to show that change can be seen in a short amount of time as opposed to just a long amount of time. Some people may think that not that much can change in a few months and my idea is to show the reality what can actually change. I could also change my prompt to how does time affect a person's interests and see how that goes as well. Much to consider.
The strength of my idea is-
To provide some insight to the idea of time and get a different perspective.
My idea dovetails into the conceptual construct of the assignment (time) by
Showing a person possibly in an outdoor location so you can see how much the person is changing but also get an approximate timeline without it being given to you based on the weather/seasons.
Some of the compositional decisions that I am thinking about that will reinforce my ideas are (address issues such as perspective, light, color, etc…)
Some of the compositional decisions I am thinking of are portrait and possibly high key lighting depending on the location I choose.
Final project outcome- examples… time lapse, photographic series, Photoshop montage, other…
Final outcome is probably going to be a photographic series.
In order to get the photos you need how many and how often will you need to take a photo?
About once a week maybe a little more frequently some weeks.
How can you remember to take photos (calendar/ phone reminders, etc..)?
I will set a reminder on my phone so I will not forget.
My time management strategy to ensure that I complete the entire project is…
To not fall behind on the weeks and if we miss a day for any number of reasons trying to take a picture maybe the next day or ASAP so I don't miss a week.
If you are planning to use Photoshop how much time will you need for that?
I don't think I am planning on using photoshop I think it depends on who allows me to take the pictures of them. I might try and incorporate some kind of photoshop based on their current interest at the time which may include sports or activities they like to do.
Some of my concerns about the project are…
Not remembering to take the pictures every week or having scheduling conflicts with the person whose photo I'm taking.
I am dealing with those concerns by…
I will deal with these concerns by maybe even just driving to go get the image quickly if schedules conflict but ideally trying to be consistent with planning to be able to get the images each week.
How can the teacher help me?
Just supporting the idea and trusting the process as well as maybe some photoshop help if needed.
What photographer's work has this project been influenced by?
No artist influenced this work it just kind of came to my head. I did however think of the guy who did our cheer pictures and the way he is able to overlap images to combine different things to make it look cooler.

I completely gave up on taking pictures of a person for my project because the person was no longer available. I decided to switch it up and do plant growth instead. My mom started planting sunflowers that she was going to transplant outside when they got big but it seemed like she forgot to water them on the last day there. I think it is crazy how on the 26th they were fine and on the 27th they seemed dead and unable to come back from it even with water. I thought it was a cool process to watch and see how much they can grow each day.
