Hands Fantastic and Strange

For this assignment, we were tasked with taking a picture of hands. There was no idea that really guided this image besides the fact that I needed a picture of hands and happened to be working on a project involving necklaces at the time. I was thinking of doing an action shot of me actually making a pair of earrings from the necklaces but I needed two hands for that so I just picked them up and took a picture. I decided to include the stick and poke because it makes the image less boring and adds to it a little bit. 

I took different angles to see what looked less odd and what didn't. I took the original image into photoshop onto the photos app and increased the brilliance and exposure while reducing the saturation. I like that this almost added more attention to the beads and the stick and poke by muting the background color of the table while still having some color on the beads. 

This image was edited on photoshop and a used the tools to cut and paste and blend all of the images together.
